With Australia as the second largest producer of aluminium products and largest producer of raw bauxite in the world, The Council represents the country’s most significant value-adding manufacturing industry through every phase from bauxite exploration, through mining, alumina refining, aluminium smelting, aluminium extrusion and downstream distribution.
