A collection of just 56 north-facing apartments across 14 levels, the stunning Vantage Burleigh apartment complex stands in the beating heart of Burleigh Waters, Queensland.
Given the sunny location and coastal vistas, the architect’s aim was to open the apartments up to the great outdoors and maximise natural light in the interior spaces. To do this, they aimed to achieve a curtainwall look using only a window-wall system, as well as large balcony sliding and stacking doors.
The challenge was that the building was located near a very busy main highway, so all glazing had to overcome the significant noise factor.
Fabricator, Queensland Façade Systems, met the challenge head-on by using highly acoustic-rated glass and IGU which also met both WERS and Rw ratings. To top everything off, the chosen applied finish was Eternity Titanium Pearl Satin which perfectly accents the warm natural timber and other materials.
Now flooded with light, the results are contemporary and clean-lined living spaces surrounded by huge expanses of glass that open up residents up to the blue skies of Burleigh Waters.
