A key feature of the project is its facade, which responds to climate and context through the strategic placement of windows and doors, fabricated and supplied by Brisbane-based BVW Group. These elements are far more than building components – they shape the building’s identity while supporting functionality and performance.

The inclusion of operable windows and expansive sliding doors enables natural ventilation throughout, supporting passive cooling and reducing reliance on mechanical systems. The windows and doors also bring in generous natural light, improving liveability across all apartment types and contributing to long-term energy efficiency.

At roof level, residents benefit from an expansive shared space with a lap pool, spa, outdoor gym, yoga lawn, and landscaped dining zones – 85% of which is dedicated to green areas.

Just a hop, skip and jump from The Gabba, Story House demonstrates how well-integrated windows and doors can enhance architectural expression, environmental performance, and the everyday comfort of inner-city residents.
