Conceived by Blair Smith Architecture, this rammed earth and timber frame residence harmoniously blends natural textures with contemporary detailing, creating a home that feels both grounded and refined.

Architectural Vision

Blair Smith Architecture envisioned a dwelling that celebrates raw materials while maintaining a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces. The use of rammed earth walls and timber framing provides thermal efficiency and a tactile aesthetic, complemented by expansive glazing to invite natural light and views of the surrounding environment.

Alspec Systems

To achieve this vision, the project incorporated premium Alspec systems, selected for their durability, performance, and design flexibility:

• – Hawkesbury Top Hung Sliding Door
  Offering uninterrupted views and effortless operation, the Hawkesbury system delivers strength and elegance for large openings, ensuring smooth transitions between living spaces and outdoor areas.
• – Carinya Hinge Door
  A robust yet stylish solution for entry points, providing superior security and a refined finish that complements the home’s architectural palette.
• – Carinya Awning Window
  Designed for ventilation and weather protection, these windows enhance airflow while maintaining the home’s clean lines and energy efficiency.

All systems were finished in Aged Brass Kenetic, a distinctive frame colour that harmonises beautifully with the earthy tones of rammed earth and timber.

Outcome

The result is a home that exemplifies sustainable luxury, where Alspec systems play a pivotal role in delivering functionality without compromising aesthetics. Par 3 House stands as a testament to thoughtful design and quality craftsmanship, showcasing how architectural vision and innovative products can create spaces that endure.
