This October, Alspec’s Adelaide team proudly embraced Safe Work Month 2025, aligning with the national theme: “Safety, Every Job, Every Day.” Across our Beverley and Lonsdale sites, we ran a comprehensive campaign to reinforce the importance of health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace.
Key Initiatives and Highlights
- Weekly HSE Tips
Five weekly tips were shared with staff, covering essential topics such as risk assessment, mental health, and safe work practices. These insights helped keep safety top of mind throughout the month. - Visual Awareness
Pull-up banners and safety posters were installed across both sites, creating strong visual reminders of the campaign and encouraging staff engagement. - Interactive Activities
Puzzle games focused on risk identification brought a fun, hands-on approach to learning. Staff worked through two workplace scenarios, actively participating in hazard recognition. - Celebration Events
On 22nd and 23rd October, we hosted two-day gatherings to celebrate achievements, award puzzle game winners, and recognise valuable ideas submitted through the HSE Suggestion Box. Healthy catering and enjoyable activities added to the positive atmosphere. - Safety Presentations
Brief presentations were delivered on safety programs, risk identification, and stress reduction strategies, reinforcing our commitment to creating a safe and supportive work environment.
